i got EVEN MORE PACKAGES in the mail yesterday - this time they were PRINTS!! 

can't wait to ship off those beautiful, tangible memories!!!

i went away this weekend.

camping.

in a tent.

in the mountains.

and i made smores.

and played cards.

and futilely tried to complete crossword puzzles.

and talked for hours with no real sense of time.

but when i came back, it was to this:

and i had a little bit of a panic attack.

there's so much to do! and so little time.

and after an 8 hour car ride yesterday the LAST thing i felt like doing was 

figuring out what to blog about,

unpacking these boxes,

or filing my little mini-mountain of paperwork.

so i half-heartedly set out to take photos of all of the MESS

that came in the mail for me over the past week.

[please don't misunderstand, i am SO EXCITED ABOUT WHAT'S INSIDE THE BOXES.

i was just EXHAUSTED.]

but will, who has a way of making the most mundane things seem completely enthralling,

managed to help make taking pictures of shipping boxes FUN.

i have THE BEST CLIENTS.

i don't know how i get them, but i'm just going with it.

ashley and david's virginia beach maternity session was (in my humble opinion)

one of the best sessions caitlin elizabeth photography has had to date!

i love ashley's sense of style (she's a graphic designer and has her own 

small business: Ruffled Skirt Designs)

so when i got a package in the mail from her i was PUMPED

and thrilled when i opened it to find this:

i love thank you cards :) you can say it over and over, but 

nothing says 'thank you' like spelling it out with paper and ink

and she sent me a surprise!!
